MindsetGo is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate individual with the expertise and creativity to help us create student and family-based programs and improve old ones!
As Curriculum Development Intern, you’ll be creating and improving our workshops by researching new teaching and engagement methods, authoring simulations and role plays, and potentially teaching your own workshops! This internship is ideal for education majors, as our goal is to teach professional development workshops in every school district in MA. As a teacher-to-be, you would have the opportunity to work on the other side of professional development for educators, and give meaningful input. Because MindsetGo is relatively small but growing, you will be directly involved in decision-making and have the chance to collaborate one-on-one with the President of the company. We would also love to work with you so you can receive academic credit for this internship!
MindsetGo is a forward-thinking, fast-paced company that trains people of all ages to be more confident and skilled communicators through experiential learning workshops and coaching. Our three programs: Student Success, Family Success and Professional Success develop skill sets, support mindfulness around habit change and embrace a growth mindset. Our areas of expertise include: customer and employee engagement, sales training, career path development, and public speaking/presentation skills. We also do motivational speaking engagements and teach parents how to connect and relate to their children more effectively. We often pair with community and learning organizations to uniquely tailor each of our programs to our specific audience, so with this internship you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, making every experience different and exciting!

Location: Our office is in Westborough, MA, but this can be a virtual or hybrid opportunity depending on your preference.
Who are you?
- Well-organized with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments. Evidence of some sort of curriculum writing, educational, or presentation experience.
- Great oral and written communication skills to contribute to the humble voice of MindsetGo.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of presentation and engagement techniques.
- Willing to work independently with results-oriented work ethic.
- Entrepreneurial passion.
- Preferred Majors: Business, Education, English, Creative Writing, Communication.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
How can you help us?
- Contribute 8-15 hours per week*
- Cross reference existing methods and strategies to ensure effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Research teaching methods; present new workshop ideas/concepts based on consumer need.
- Create templates and content for workshops, simulations, exercises, etc.
- Develop and monitor effective benchmarks/surveys for measuring workshop effectiveness and client satisfaction. Analyze, review, and report in an effort to maximize user experience.
- Maintain and add to database of education, business, and PTO contacts.
- Create group and individual activities covering a range of verbal, non-verbal and active listening techniques and activities.
- Implement workshops, lessons, protocols or activities in accordance with MindsetGo curriculum.
- Maintain continuous evaluation of student progress and communicate those observations professionally and consistently through various channels.
- Demonstrate competence in effectively leading groups, encouraging active participation and providing feedback with a growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to address concerns, make recommendations and review strategy regarding programs and participants.
- Travel to different site locations to teach various workshops.
