Webinar: Leadership Change Management: Helping Employees Adapt to Change
August 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
HR Leaders must have a seat at the boardroom table; preparing your organization for the present and future requires HR involvement from day 1.
The consequences of mismanaging change are high—not only financially but in productivity, lost opportunity, wasted resources, and diminished morale. Given the complexity of the changes that companies are confronting today and the speed with which they need to make decisions, employees at many levels are neither able nor willing to change or adapt.
This is part 1 of our four-part webinar series on change management that will help mitigate the pains experienced with scaling/growth, downsizing, new management, or adding new technology while increasing engagement and improving organizational performance. The individual webinars will cover habit and behavior change, conveying and accepting change, facilitating, and adapting to change. Leaders will learn to help their teams understand, commit to, accept and embrace changes in their current business environment.
Part 1: Behavior/Habit Change – What Gets in the Way
Employees often find it challenging to make changes to their behavior even when these behaviors are causing them to underachieve; resulting in missed deadlines, communication breakdown, and lost revenue for themselves and the organization. Learn how to tap into what gets in the way of the way people already think, behave, work, and feel to understand how to motivate and inspire people to discover their intrinsic motivators and embrace new habits.
- Find the root cause of a fixed mindset
- Discover what holds people back (attitudes, fears, baggage)
- Understand motivators (getting to why)
